BOMA CERTIFICATION

BOMA refers to The Building Owners and Managers Association, an international organization comprised of commercial building owners, managers, brokers, service providers and other professionals.  For almost 100 years, BOMA International has set the standard for measuring commercial buildings. The standard has been revised throughout the years to reflect the changing needs of the real estate market and the evolution of office building design, and it is widely recognized as the most comprehensive and complete standard for calculating square footage metrics of commercial buildings.  The BOMA standard was most recently updated in 2010, and includes methodologies for office, retail, industrial, and multi-family buildings.
